After graduating from the University of Oxford with a BA in English Language and Literature in June 2021, Ava elected to study for the Postgraduate Diploma in Law at BPP University.

Whilst studying on her course, Ava volunteered as a Student Researcher for Bail for Immigrant Detainees and participated in BPP’s Streetlaw pro bono programme, for which she delivered workshops to a number of domestic abuse charities.

She additionally volunteered as a caseworker with Intervene Project, providing legal counsel to prisoners who had suffered human rights abuses, which served to strengthen her commitment to access to justice.

Before joining Pogust Goodhead in 2022, Ava also spent two months working as a Compliance Paralegal for M&C Saatchi.
