John works principally on the firm’s international case portfolio and all regulatory matters.
John was called to the Bar in 2006 and specialises in litigation, all EU-UK relations, competition law and all regulatory work, particularly in the energy and telecommunications sectors.
Before joining Pogust Goodhead in March 2023, John worked in-house at an international energy company in the Middle East and, before that, at a fixed-line telecoms operator. He also spent a year working on a fixed-line telecoms project at an international accountancy firm. John was a Judicial Assistant at the House of Lords in 2008-9, primarily working for the future President of the UK Supreme Court, Lord Neuberger.
