Mariana is a Brazilian and New York qualified Associate in Pogust Goodhead’s London Office. As part of the international disputes team, Mariana is currently working on international disputes concerning environmental damage, product liability and human rights.

Prior to joining Pogust Goodhead, Mariana worked for over three years in a boutique public international law firm in London where she acted on various international arbitration matters, as well in various matters before human rights bodies such as the United Nations Human Rights Committee, the European Court of Human Rights and the ECOWAS Court of Justice, and before the Commission for the Control of INTERPOL’s files. She has represented States, companies, and high-profile individuals in disputes across a range of sectors.

Mariana has also worked in leading international law firms in Paris and London, as well as in the Permanent Court of Arbitration, where she worked on a variety of international matters. Mariana has a passion for business and human rights and environmental protection, which she wishes to combine with her expertise in international disputes.
