Alison graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an LLB (Hons) and Diploma in Legal Practice. 

Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Alison worked at an international dispute resolution firm and has over a decade of experience dealing with high value, complex matters in the Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland and in the Court of Session.   

As a civil litigator, Alison has extensive experience in reparation work, product liability cases, and fatal claims.  Alison also has experience using different forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediation as well as public inquiry experience, where she has represented core participants. 

Alison has a keen interest in legal project management and sees the power in group action claims as being key to accessing justice for people who may not have the funds or resources to do so without coming together. 

Alison set up the new Scottish practice for Pogust Goodhead and has brought together a team of excellent lawyers.
