Class Action Claims Bayer’s ‘One a Day’ Prenatal Vitamins Contain Toxic Heavy Metals

German-based biotechnology company Bayer was slapped with a product liability class action Friday in Pennsylvania Eastern District Court.

The case, brought by Pogust Goodhead and other law firms, contends that Bayer’s ‘One A Day’ prenatal vitamins contain toxic heavy metals and other harmful substances.

Counsel have not yet appeared for the defendants. The case is 2:22-cv-00640, Kharaeva et al v. Bayer AG et al.
