Yvete Sola is a Philippine-qualified Associate at Pogust Goodhead’s London office. She holds a Bachelor of Law from San Beda University (Philippines) and a Bachelor in Business Management from Ateneo de Naga University (Philippines). She obtained her LL.M. in International Dispute Settlement from The Graduate Institute of Geneva (Switzerland) as MIDS scholarship recipient.  

Yvete worked for five years as a government lawyer at the Office of the Solicitor General of the Republic of the Philippines. She represented the government in constitutionality, civil, criminal, and expropriation cases before the Philippine’s Court of Appeals and Supreme Court and international arbitration proceedings. Yvete also trained in international law firms, Volterra Fietta (London) and Lalive SA (Geneva) where she worked on investment and commercial arbitration cases, and the World Intellectual Property Organization (Geneva), advising public international law matters.  

Outside her career, Yvete regularly judges the Philip C. Jessup Cup and the Foreign Direct Investment Moot.
