Nishimiye obtained her LLB in Global Law from Tilburg University with distinction. She completed her LLM degree in Legal Theory & Socio-Legal Studies, specializing in legal philosophy. She also spent a semester abroad at the University of Connecticut.

Nishimiye is passionate about LGBTQ+ rights, law & development, social justice, and intersectionality.

Nishimiye joined Pogust Goodhead’s Amsterdam office in 2021 and is currently completing her Trainee Contract. Nishimiye is mostly involved in the BHP litigation and has spent a lot of time meeting with clients on the ground across Brazil.
