Priscilla Mendes Rodrigues is Chief External Affairs and Strategy Officer at Pogust Goodhead, where she leads the firm’s global communications, external relations and advocacy strategy. She runs integrated media and stakeholder engagement programmes across multiple jurisdictions, supporting the firm’s position in complex, high-profile litigation and strengthening its reputation as a leading claimant law firm.

With more than 17 years of experience in strategic communications, public affairs and political journalism, Priscilla brings a track record of advising on high-stakes issues, managing complex reputational matters and building influential relationships. At Pogust Goodhead, she has played a central role in shaping the firm’s communications approach in relation to major collective actions, including the Mariana v BHP litigation, helping to ensure that the firm’s legal work is supported by clear, credible and strategically aligned external engagement.

Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Priscilla held senior communications roles in Brazil and also served as a press officer during the country’s 2018 presidential elections. Earlier in her career, she was a political correspondent for Rede Globo, reporting from both the Presidency of Brazil and the National Congress. She also covered three presidential campaigns and worked for major Brazilian media organisations.

Priscilla holds a Master’s degree in Politics and Communication from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), an MBA in Digital Marketing from Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV), and a degree in Journalism from the University of Brasília (UnB).
