Carolina has been registered as a lawyer with the Brazilian Bar Association since 2016. Prior to moving to the United Kingdom, Carolina worked at a law firm in Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, specialised in civil and consumer law.

After graduating, Carolina also became interested in environmental law and, in 2018, joined Alto São Francisco Basin Committee (CBHSF), working towards the sustainable development of the São Francisco River Basin and Associação Pró Pouso Alegre (APPA), a Brazilian NGO working in the defence and preservation of the environment.

Since joining Pogust Goodhead, Carolina has assisted with cross-jurisdictional disputes, including environmental and anti-competitive litigation, such as the Fundão Dam and Orange Juice Cartel case.
