Matt is an English qualified solicitor at Pogust Goodhead working on a range of the firm’s cases, including the Mariana v BHP case. His legal experience also includes working on multiple billion-dollar arbitrations and High Court proceedings concerning infrastructure, construction, energy, and post-M&A matters. His legal experience also extends to asset finance transactions.

Matt obtained his undergraduate degree in Philosophy and International Relations from the University of St Andrews and his Masters degree in Law & Development from the School of Oriental and African Studies.

Matt has an interest in promoting access to justice programmes and has been a regular contributor at the Whitechapel Legal Advice Clinic and the Royal Courts of Justice Advice Centre.

Prior to joining Pogust Goodhead, Matt was an international arbitration Associate at White & Case LLP in London.
