London International Disputes Week 2026 brought together some of the brightest minds in litigation. Pogust Goodhead was proud to be part of the conversation, with our lawyers taking to the stage across two panel discussions.
Class Actions Unpacked
Legal Director Juliana Ponde Fonseca joined a line-up of distinguished global panellists at Class Actions Unpacked, co-hosted by Global Legal Post, Ashurst and Pogust Goodhead, to explore the anatomy of modern class actions and the global trends reshaping collective litigation.
As class actions continue to accelerate across jurisdictions and sectors worldwide, the session examined the key forces driving this shift, from global trends and emerging litigation risks to procedural developments and practical strategies for navigating collective claims. Drawing on real-world insights and recent cases, the panel brought together leading international practitioners who have contributed to the Global Legal Post’s Law Over Borders Class Actions Comparative Guide, alongside authors providing jurisdictional updates from around the world.
Fellow panellists included Sarah-Jane Dobson, Martin Eimer and Hortense de Roux from Ashurst; Shylah Alfonso of Perkins Coie; Toby Riley-Smith KC of Henderson Chambers; Thomas Middleton of Grant Thornton UK; Chris Lisica of Omni Bridgeway; and Desiree Maghoo of Questor Consulting.
AI on Trial: Lessons from the Largest Group Claims in UK History
Later that day, Partner Melissa Ferrari and Senior Associate Edmund Bentsi-Enchill joined Daniel Heinrichs and Gary Bassett from Sky Discovery for a panel exploring how artificial intelligence is transforming e-disclosure in large-scale litigation.
Drawing on first-hand experience deploying AI tools in e-disclosure review across some of the largest group litigation matters in UK history, the panel offered candid insights and practical lessons from cases involving vast datasets, complex disclosure challenges and unprecedented scale. The discussion also looked ahead to how AI may reshape the future of large-scale disputes more broadly.
Thank you to Sky Discovery for partnering with us on such a timely and thought-provoking session.
As we say goodbye to another insightful LIDW, we look forward to continuing these vital conversations shaping the future of group actions and access to justice.
