Jonathan is a Partner and Head of Mariana Litigation at Pogust Goodhead. He provides strategic leadership for one of the largest group claims in English legal history, following the firm’s landmark liability victory against BHP. He leads the continued development of the case into the damages phase, working closely with colleagues in Brazil, the UK, the Netherlands and beyond.

Jonathan specialises in complex, high-value cross-border disputes. He has acted in a wide range of commercial litigation, including civil fraud and asset tracing, international trust disputes, contentious insolvency, investigations, competition follow-on damages and procurement challenges. He has represented clients in proceedings at all levels of the English courts and has extensive experience of arbitration and mediation involving multiple legal systems.

Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Jonathan was a senior disputes partner at an international law firm, where he held a number of key leadership roles.
