Amirah Choudhury is a UK Qualified Lawyer with a strong background in Civil Litigation and Dispute Resolution. She is currently working in the International Dispute Resolution department at Pogust Goodhead. Throughout her law degree, Amirah has shown a keen interest in International Human Rights law and worked as a research assistant funded by her university’s project called ‘Knowing Our Rights’, focusing on human rights violations, including violence against women and the use of police force.
Before joining Pogust Goodhead in 2023, Amirah gained valuable experience in various legal areas, including assisting on the Post Office Inquiry, group action litigation and cases relating to professional negligence. She has represented vulnerable clients throughout her legal career and has a keen interest in environmental law.
Since joining our firm, Amirah has worked on the Mariana v BHP case and has undertaken groundwork in Brazil to meet with clients to gain a better understanding of their losses and foster positive client relations. She will continue to work on this case and assist the client’s in navigating the court process.
