Giulia Urzino is a dual qualified Avvocato (Italy) and Solicitor (England & Wales) with a strong background in international law and a particular expertise in the field of the law of the sea. Giulia gained her law degree with honours from the University of Florence, specialising in international law and EU law. She pursued her interest in international law at the University College London (UCL), where she completed her LL.M. with a dissertation focused on international cultural heritage law.
Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Giulia gained valuable experience in various legal areas, including administrative, environmental, and employment law in Italy. Her clients spanned both public and private sectors. She is proficient in multiple languages, including Italian, French, and Spanish, with a basic understanding of German.
Giulia’s interests extend to public law and politics, as she understands the interplay between their dynamics. Since joining our firm, Giulia has worked on various cases, including the Vauxhall NOx Emissions Litigation and the Mariana v BHP case.
