Tom is an English-qualified solicitor focusing on complex, high-value litigation, and international dispute resolution. Tom has a broad range of experience working on commercial litigation and international arbitration matters across a variety of sectors and industries, acting on behalf of both claimants and defendants, including large multinational corporations, governments, and individuals.

At Pogust Goodhead, Tom works on large-scale consumer and environmental group litigation, including representing thousands of claimants in several high-profile emissions cases against major car manufacturers.

Prior to joining Pogust Goodhead, Tom worked in the international dispute resolution team of a global law firm in London. During that time, Tom was seconded to an advocacy group (Liberty) and non-profit organisation (Reprieve), working on strategic litigation cases in relation to human rights abuses, unjust laws, and the protection of civil liberties.

Tom has acted in commercial and investment treaty arbitrations before the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) and the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID). Tom also has experience in regulatory enforcement cases, dealing with investigations by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Financial Reporting Council (FRC).
