Faranak has 10 years’ experience as a commercial litigator, working on complex high-value litigation, domestic and international, acting on behalf of both claimants and defendants; including large multi-national corporations, governments and individuals. She has acted on a broad range of disputes, arising out of breach of contract, breach of warranty, professional negligence and cases involving civil fraud and seeking or resisting ancillary injunctive relief.
Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Faranak trained at one of the largest firms in the world, qualifying in 2013, and worked for 7 years as an associate at the UK’s leading litigation-only law firm, specialising in commercial litigation cases proceeding by way of group litigation.
At Pogust Goodhead, Faranak is a Legal Director in our International Disputes team, mainly focusing on global group litigation on behalf of claimants who have suffered environmental harm. Faranak has a particular interest in ESG issues and advising on sustainability and regulatory matters, and the disputes that arise when businesses fail to meet expected ESG standards.
