Amie Crichton is Head of Australia and oversees operations of Pogust Goodhead’s Sydney office.

Amie has over 15 years’ litigation experience and a proven track record in both defending and prosecuting complex claims and class actions across the financial services, consumer, technology, resource and infrastructure sectors in Australia and cross-jurisdictionally.

Amie spent nine years at international law firm, Norton Rose Fulbright, most recently as special counsel, acting in high-profile, multi-party disputes, including representing numerous multinationals’ interests in representative proceedings before the Supreme and Federal Courts. Following this, in 2018, Amie founded boutique litigation firm, Crichton & Co Legal, leading a team specialising in complex disputes.

Throughout her career, Amie has worked on numerous influential class actions across the APAC region, including the prosecution of Toyota Motor Corporation Australia in relation to faulty diesel particulate filters and the defence of SunWater and its engineers in relation to the 2011 Queensland floods. Her broader class action experience heavily focuses on proceedings involving securities, misleading or deceptive conduct, non-disclosure, Corporations Act and ASIC Act breaches.

Amie has a keen interest in the intersection between law and innovation, and in facilitating access to justice through advocacy.
