Bethan Lewis joined the firm as a Paralegal in 2018 after graduating with a Law degree from the University of Leeds.
Bethan is a keen advocate for women’s reproductive health rights and is a member of PCOS (Cysters in the UK) support group and activist for the Endometriosis UK charity. Bethan has continued to develop her women’s rights advocacy assisting women who seek redress for their injuries in the Essure Device and Transvaginal Mesh claims within the firm’s Medical Product Liability team.
As part of her training period, Bethan spent three-months on secondment to the firm’s Philadelphia office where she gained invaluable experience assisting with medical mass tort litigations such as Hernia Mesh and Injectafer.
Bethan has also worked on a number of business development projects to investigate possible litigations in the US, Brazil, and England and Wales.
Bethan Lewis is a member of the firm’s Corporate Social Responsibility committee, which is responsible for furthering the firm’s commitment to environmental, social, and corporate governance sustainability. Bethan has been involved in establishing partnerships between the firm and charities in both Liverpool and London.
