Céline’s legal career began at international law firm Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, where her work in jurisdictions such as Hong Kong and the UAE saw her advise a multitude of high-profile clients in the Energy & Environment and Oil & Gas sectors. After being recruited into the world-renowned Global Disputes practice at Jones Day, Céline acted in various complex litigation and arbitration matters before the High Court, DIFC, ICC and LCIA and was made a Senior Associate in less than 3 years.

Joining Pogust Goodhead in 2020, Céline immediately oversaw the firm’s successful CPR 52.30 application on Município de Mariana v BHP Group UK Ltd and BHP Group Ltd; a seminal decision that saw a panel of Court of Appeal judges re-open the proceedings. Now a Partner, Céline continues to lead the case from Brazil where she is principally responsible for this and other critically important matters for the firm.
