Ibar is a barrister with extensive experience in Ireland, the UK and the Caribbean. He was called to the bar of Ireland in 2011 and the bar of England and Wales in 2015. He has significant experience in a range of areas including Commercial Litigation, Defamation, Professional Negligence, Corporate Insolvency and Rescue, Business and Human Rights and Medical Product Liability.

He obtained a Barrister-at-Law Degree from the Honourable Society of King’s Inns in Dublin and a Bachelor of Civil Law Degree from University College Dublin, where he was awarded the prestigious Gold Medal for placing 1st out of a class of 120 + students.

He is currently instructed by Pogust Goodhead on a long-term basis – working on the Mariana v BHP case.
