Ross is an Associate in Pogust Goodhead’s London office, working on consumer group litigation, including complex and large-scale claims against various vehicle manufacturers following the global diesel emissions scandal – set to be the largest claim in English legal history. Ross is a qualified lawyer admitted to practice in England and Wales.
Ross works on some of the highest profile strategic product litigation matters in Europe, including as part of the lead lawyer team bringing claims against major car manufacturers, their finance entities and dealerships in respect of the diesel emissions scandal in the United Kingdom.
More widely, Ross is interested in environmental and animal rights and sustainable development in particular. His legal experience includes litigation in the High Court, mediation, arbitration and adjudication (in the construction sector) on multi-million-pound matters concerning fraud, misrepresentation, contract-based disputes and technical construction matters.
Prior to joining Pogust Goodhead, Ross worked in Mayer Brown’s Litigation and Dispute Resolution team (focusing on contentious construction and infrastructure law).
On a pro bono basis, Ross has represented appellants in the First-Tier Tribunal in relation to disability benefits entitlement. He has also advised charities on property litigation and financial matters. Ross regularly takes on roles mentoring potential lawyers from disproportionately disadvantaged and underrepresented backgrounds.
