Pogust Goodhead strengthens leadership team and secures additional funding

August 16, 2025

Following the news that Pogust Goodhead has appointed three additional members to its Board alongside Tom Goodhead, the company wishes to provide an update to its key stakeholders.

The new Board appointments demonstrate our ongoing commitment to strengthening our governance and leadership as we prepare for a pivotal and successful year ahead.

The appointment of Howard Morris to the Board underscores our ambition to lead with excellence. Grounded in his years of experience as CEO of one of the largest law firms globally, Howard brings a wealth of credibility and leadership that align with the firm’s needs at this critical stage in delivering on its commitment to the clients and communities it serves.

Joining Howard are Joseph Moreno, former global litigation partner at Cadwalader, and Alicia Alinia, who has been an integral part of the senior management team for nearly four years. Together, these new directors bring a strong combination of legal, regulatory, and business expertise. Alicia has also been appointed Interim CEO as Tom Goodhead remains on leave of absence.

We are also pleased to announce that the firm has secured additional funding from Gramercy Funds Management LLC, a clear endorsement of our current litigation and their renewed confidence in our leadership, strategic vision and long-term direction. This milestone marks a significant moment for both the firm and our clients, providing the resources to support our unrelenting mission to deliver justice.

We maintain management and forensic independence from all funders and retain complete control over the strategic and operational direction of our cases.

We are confident that these additions to the Board, coupled with the backing of Gramercy and our other funders, will strengthen our ability to secure industry-shaping trial victories and settlements for our clients and support the firm in navigating future opportunities.

With the landmark judgment on the Mariana dam disaster expected soon and the NOx emissions litigation coming to trial in October, we look forward to a successful year for both our clients and the firm.
