Mira Smulders is a Senior Associate at Pogust Goodhead and specialises in complex international disputes. She is fluent in Dutch and English.

Before joining Pogust Goodhead, Mira worked at De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek for eight years. She has worked for numerous Dutch and international clients in complex, high-stakes disputes, including inter alia arbitration related proceedings such as annulment proceedings, proceedings at the Enterprise chamber and mass claim litigation. Prior to rejoining their disputes team, she also worked in the M&A practice and gained experience as an in-house legal advisor by way of secondment. Moreover, Mira was extensively involved in pro bono work during her time at De Brauw, assisting in several human rights cases.

Mira was admitted to the Amsterdam bar in February 2015 after graduating with both a Master’s degree in Globalisation and Law: Corporate and Commercial Law and Nederlands recht (Dutch law): Handels- en Ondernemingsrecht at Maastricht University in the Netherlands.
